KIET, the premier promoter of quality technical education in Kendrapara district since past two decades. Sri Biswajit Das as a founder chairman, promoted the educational society in the year 2001, with a vision and mission to create a platform for holistic growth and success to students in industrial training.
Kendrapara Institute of Engineering & Technology was established in the academic year 2001 under the aegis of TEIDS, Kendrapara. KIET functioned officially in the year 2004 with the approval of SD&TE, Odisha and Affiliated to NCVT, New Delhi with intake capacity 2 units in Fitter Trade. Presently KIET has 6 units in Fitter and 3 units in Electrician trade with total 180 intake capacity.

The institute is situated in an eco-friendly area with thick greenery surrounding and very close road communication to Kendrapara city and different nearby areas like Pattamundai, Indupur, Bari (Jajpur), Cuttack-Chandbali Road, NH-5A, Paradeep, Chandikhol. The institute is located in the heart of Kendrapara and 1 KM away from Tinimuhani Bust stop. The College is 100 M away from Cuttack-Chandbali Road.
The institute Building has three flours with a total carpet area of 18,000 Sq. Ft. apart from one boys hostel building.

The institute proudly offers quality training in Fitter and Electrician trades which produces successful students every year.
